Having an interest in investments for as long as he can remember, Tim followed his passion and started Cartier Financial in 1981.
For Tim, the best part of his job is meeting with clients and developing relationships based on dedication and honesty. To him, his clients are like family members, and he wants to see them progress and do well, so when it comes to retirement, everything they have worked for is there—just like they planned.
Reliable, personable and detail-oriented are just a few words to describe Penny Marx in her role as office manager at Cartier Financial. A member of the team for 20+ years—and founder Tim Cartier’s sister—Penny has a true passion for providing excellent service to her clients. She enjoys the one-on-one time she spends talking and meeting with them, as every client is treated like a family member.
Part of the Cartier Financial staff since she was 15 years old, you could say Kaitlyn grew up right alongside the family business. She first began working closely with Cartier Financial clients who she’d known for decades in assisting them with preservation tactics to cover long-term care costs. She eventually became the go-to person for Assisted Living Communities in her area. Doing so allowed her to utilize her passion for making sure those eligible understood the benefits available to them and helped clients she had known for 20+ years ensure they were taken care of.
Striving to be hardworking, honest and client-focused in every aspect of his role as an attorney and a financial advisor has made Marc the go-to resource for Cartier Financial clients when it comes to retirement income planning, estate planning and investments. Having worked in the industry for almost 15 years, Marc is responsible for drafting wills and trusts for clients, along with providing various financial services. Committed to a high level of service in financial- and legal-related matters, Marc prides himself on being readily available to answer any question a client might have.
Since 1992, Teresa has worked in the financial world, first for CPA firms and now in the income tax field. Teresa prides herself on bringing a personal interest to each one of her client’s situations and following through to fix any tax issue they may have. She holds her CTEC certification and is a registered tax professional with the IRS for compliance. Teresa is proficient in QuickBooks, Quicken and most accounting software. Because of her strong work ethic and professional approach, Teresa has retained most of the same clients throughout her career. Her persistence in finding strategies, expertise and connection she feels with each client are just some of the reasons why they are loyal.
